The Jenner Centre – DD9 Connections Issue No 21
The Jenner Centre continues to provide a variety of services with new projects such as the Cancer Support Group and the Chit and Chat with Coffee going well attracting more folk as the weeks go on.
A couple of Issues ago we asked the question “who changes your light bulb?” This and other jobs around your home were causing a worry for many folk. A bit of detective work, help from those on social media and some friendly and helpful emails, and we came up with an answer; see the article later in this issue from the Angus Small Repairs Service which we hope will be helpful for many of you. There’s also a useful article from Home Energy Scotland with advice and support to see you through this cold winter.
And a reminder about the CPR training – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Thursday 16th January at10.30am. This is so important to be able to give someone a better chance of survival following a cardiac arrest. Please book a place for this training by calling, emailing or popping into the Jenner Centre. We listed all the local defibrillators in the last Issue and have since seen another one on the wall at the Mechanics Institute. Let us know if you find any more.
We’re closed Friday 27th and Monday 30th December. Open as usual from the 3rd January (10 -11am only)
